Chantez! \u00c9dition 2023\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0Wii5_Wj1yk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption>Teaser for the Ch\u0153urs du Monde Concert \u2013 June 11, 2023<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>June 11 marked the culmination of the 7th edition of<em>A vos marques, pr\u00eats\u2026 Chantez !<\/em> with the participatory concert <em>Choirs of the world<\/em> bringing together more than 4,000 spectators at the Z\u00e9nith de Strasbourg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This musical performance was conceived as a journey through a day, a year, with its seasons. A departure from home to travel the world, enrich oneself through experiences, and return transformed\u2014broader, more open, and nourished by art. Through a succession of songs from French, Argentinian, African, and Slavic traditions, the performance invited audiences on this musical voyage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*\"Turning our differences into a source of personal enrichment\"* was the guiding principle of this large-scale project, which brought together nearly 1,000 singers\u2014both adults and children\u2014including the *Ma\u00eetrise de l\u2019Op\u00e9ra national du Rhin*, accompanied by the *Orchestre du Rhin*.  \n\nThis project also provided an opportunity for the association to build new partnerships with institutions such as the socio-educational institutes of S\u00e9lestat and Diemeringen. It was a deeply moving experience for the 60 teenagers who took part in the performance.  \n\nA significant part of the artistic work was developed in collaboration with the **Ballet de Danse Physique Contemporaine** (BDPC), directed by **David Llari**, artist-in-residence at the *Centre Chor\u00e9graphique de Strasbourg*. David worked closely with several local dance companies, including **Dounya** (African dance) and **Azul** (Latin dance), to create stunning dance sequences.  \n\nThe BDPC also played a key role in engaging the participating singers, leading workshops during the monthly sessions and working with the *Ma\u00eetrise* to integrate dance movements into the singing.
